Blue is considered one of the most calming of colors, while browns are considered grounding. This piece represents the dance of a temperate climate, both geologically and mindfully. The repeating cream marks stabilize layers of chestnut and deep black, while swirls of cream and blue pastels peek through, reminding us of the calm.
